Therapy with Batman & Nightwing
Another Nightwing post! I promise the last one of the week (I can’t promise that).
Sorry in advance for the huge chunk of back story. Y’see, back in the early 1980s, Dick Grayson grew tired of being Robin, now 17 years-old and no longer a little hatchling. He announced his situation to Batman, who responded with his same emotional vacancy that he normally does, prompting Grayson to quit and don the Nightwing costume. Bruce Wayne and Grayson eventually grew close again, but only after Nightwing firmly established himself as a successful solo superhero.
Unfortunately in 1993, Bane broke Batman’s back and forced the Dark Knight into retirement. Azrael, the insane psychopathic religious zealot, was chosen by Wayne to be his successor. Terrible idea. Azrael (real name Jean Paul Valley) created a mecha-Batman suit, abused Robin, and killed bad guys. Wayne, feeling better after a magical chiropractor, fought Azrael for supremacy…

Jyger’s Virtual Pro Wrestling – Episode 1

Saturday Night’s Alright for Fighting – JVPW, My New Wrestling E-Fed
…Yup, I’m really doing this, folks. lol
In two days, I will release all three parts of JVPW Episode 1 of my wrestling e-fed, created using Fire Pro Wrestling World on Steam. In Episode 1, you will see such talent as AJ Styles, Chris Jericho, Asuka, Kenny Omega, Rosemary, and more get it on in Fire Pro. I’ll be sure to post links to the videos here on my blog once they’re up. Also, I might as well let everybody know that, in Episode 2, I will have not one but two 8-Person Battle Royals to determine who will face each other in the main event of that show for the JVPW Heavyweight Championship. And who will be in those matches? Well, I’m leaving that mostly up to you all. All you have to do is list off some of your favourite wrestlers in the comments below, and I will take them all under consideration. There are only the following restrictions:
- They have to have a Create A Wrestler made of them for Fire Pro on Steam.
- No dead people. Even if I’m not making money off doing this, I don’t want to feel like I’m reaping the benefits of the deceased. Just makes me uncomfortable.
- While I’m not planning to be too much of a stickler for who is and is not retired, I will not be having Shawn Michaels compete on my show, as he is the only person nowadays who seems to be trying to make his retirement from in-ring competition actually stick. He WILL, however, be one of the referees on the show, along with Renee Young and Senior Benjamin…because I had to get them on the show somehow. lol
- No Sexy Star. If you know anything about what happened between her and Rosemary last year, you should understand exactly why she won’t appear on my show, and why I personally believe she should be blackballed from wrestling in North America for the rest of her natural life.
Anyway, lemme know what you think of this project of mine, who you’d like to see make appearances, and be sure to check in Saturday night for the first episode. Play us out, Nickelback!… … …What? I like their cover of this song, okay? Leave me alone. XD

So…It’s Been A While
…So it’s been a little while since I’ve been back. I can tell because my notifications are MASSIVE in number. lol First of all, I wanna thank everyone for their support, and their care. I also want to apologize for being gone for so long. I know of at least a couple of people who were concerned for my well-being, and I’m sorry about that. I never wanted to worry anyone.
With that said, let’s talk about where I’ve been. Basically, I had a tooth that had some decay under one of the fillings I had put in a while back. It was so bad, I was getting pains even while being pretty effectively medicated. The cold air itself was enough to cause me intense pain, meaning I was pretty much unable to leave my apartment. I had to have the tooth removed, which only just happened a couple of days ago. I’m actually recovering quite well now…at least I was, until I somehow managed to bite that side of my mouth in my sleep…because of course I did. Bet’cha all thought I was kidding when I would talk about how accident prone I was, huh? lol The good news is, when they removed my tooth, they gave me some kickass painkillers. They seem to be helping a lot.
Beyond that, though…recently, I had a bad falling out with a dear friend of mine. I don’t wanna go into it too much, but let’s say that it hasn’t made this past month any easier. That’s really all I want to say on the matter, and I would appreciate it if no one asked any further.
In the meantime, while recovering, I treated myself a bit and got Steam. I’ve recently also learned that Windows 10 comes complete with a means of recording video game footage as I play. So, while I’m hesitant to put anything on YouTube because of certain…*ahem*, broken and exploitable functions on there, I WILL be posting video game footage on Facebook and Dailymotion. I WOULD do so on Vidme, but, wouldn’t you know it, they shut down. In fact, I’ve already begun going through the tutorial mode in Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist, for the sake of those who would like to play Yu-Gi-Oh! but don’t know how, and have begun plans to start my own wrestling e-fed via Fire Pro Wrestling World. All three parts of the first episode will be posted on the 20th, and will have links shared on here.
I’ve also found a website that more or less works similarly to Photoshop in a few ways. It’s allowed me to make some…improved work. I might be posting some of what I’ve made while experimenting with it on Deviant Art soon, so keep an eye out for it. As for my writing…I don’t know. I think that, for now, I’d like to focus on getting Starslip looked over and critiqued before moving forward, though I do have a fair bit of Green Defender written. When it’ll be finished, I don’t know. Please just bear with me.

Yeah, same. And to answer my own question, on a scale of 1 to 10, how badly is Cap gonna kick Hydra Cap’s ass? 77. That’s one for every year he’s been kicking the crap outta Hydra. I counted…because I had nothing better to do. XD
But yeah, this is literally the exact moment that fans have been waiting for ever since we first saw Captain America utter the words “Hail Hydra” a year ago. And honestly, at this point, I actually find myself torn between never wanting to see Hydra Cap ever again after this, or wanting to see him come back so Cap can kick his ass all over again. I mean, I’d imagine I’d get sick of it after a while, but right now? I could go for a whole year of seeing Hydra Cap get his ass kicked, to make up for the year of watching this fucking impostor run around as Captain America. And yes, I said impostor. I don’t care that he’s Steve Rogers if he’d lived a very different life, the Cap I know and love would ALWAYS reject that reality and substitute his own.

My 950th Blog Post + Future Plans (FEEDBACK HEAVILY REQUESTED)
So, it’s been a while since I’ve come on here and spelled out my future plans. The main reason for that is because I realized it was basically the equivalent of making a New Year’s resolution that you know you’re unlikely to make stick… … …So, here we are, talking about my future plans, because fuck it, I couldn’t think of anything else to do for the 950th blog post. lol
And yeah, this makes 950, which is absolutely insane to me, even if some of them are reblogged articles. I started this blog basically just to share a few random thoughts and rant about whatever struck me at the time, which is admittedly what I’m still doing, but never did I think I’d still be at this six years later. And it’s been a crazy time. I’ve talked about the Zelda timeline and tried to theorize where it all falls into place…only to then have it all spelled out for me via a book Nintendo released. I did my own internet review show…and retired from the biz around the fall of Blip. And I think I’ve had like three or four different girlfriends while working on this blog, meaning if I ever refer to her in past blog entries, people nowadays are gonna be confused as to which one I’m talking about. And, of course, the strangest thing to happen to me while doing this: The fucking cupcakes. That said, I think in terms of stuff I’ll never live down, that’s been replaced by a little incident at Mekeninzo’s apartment involving hot sauce. For those who say peer pressure can’t make you do anything, I give a hearty “Fuck you”. XD
Anyway, what’s my point to all of this? Well, just that’s been a crazy six years… … …and somewhere along the way, I got caught up in trying to be a big fucking deal. I think it was when my view counts starting going through the roof (at least compared to how I usually was), and I became more insistent on getting more articles out to get more views. I did take breaks, but those were more based on stuff going on in my personal life than letting myself not let more views get to me. Honestly, in hindsight, I think this was a mistake, and that I should really go back to just posting when I feel like posting, not when I start to see views drop. Getting a lot of views is good, but the thing is, sometimes the views were going up and down in overly dramatic ways regardless of if I was doing anything or not. Although, before you ask, the articles written by N. Harmonik weren’t part of that. That was more because she’d done so much work for me that I felt she deserved the chance to get her own thoughts out on stuff. That said, I will admit that she DID tap into fanbases I wasn’t a part of, and thus raked in her fair share of views, so I won’t lie, the idea of having her and some of my other friends who have been of help and support over the years do more articles is something I’m considering.
But, back to MY future plans, the stuff I personally am planning to do. You might be wondering where the next DC Rebirth One Year Later blog post is, for example. Well, if you couldn’t tell, I left a pretty blatant hint at the end of the last one that the next one would revolve around the Titans books. Well, basically, I decided I wanna wait for the current story arcs the books are doing to be over before tackling my thoughts on them. So, instead, I think the next one will deal with The Flash…much to my dismay. Not gonna lie, not a fan of this book, and I’ll explain why when I get to it.
I’m still in the process of writing the new version of The Intangible Starslip, which is currently up to Chapter 11. Not sure EXACTLY how long it’ll be, although I do know how I’m planning to end it. It’s just the how and when I get to that point that’s causing it to be so long. As for what I do with it after that…well, Mekeninzo was talking to me about it the other day, and eventually the conversation turned to if and when I was planning to physically PUBLISH it. At the time, I played it cool and made it seem like a plan I’d always had, but the truth is, I have no idea how I’d even go about that. I’ve never published ANYTHING. It’s been a goal of mine, sure, but it was one I saw happening in the far off future, not right now. Still, if it’s possible for someone like me to get written work out there…maybe? I dunno, lemme know what you think below.
Oh, and in regards to my 1000th blog post, yes, I know what I’m gonna be doing. And no, it’s not Bible Black again. I know there were probably some people wondering about that. However, it will be what some people will consider a controversial subject. I’m not gonna outright say what it is, although those who are in my more immediate circle of friends already know, but I will give the following hint: It’s a story that I like to personally think of as Fifty Shades of Grey done RIGHT. Again, you’ll see what I mean when I get to it.
And yes, I swear to God, at some point, I will finish Power Rangers Guardians of Gaia. XD Much like Starslip, I DO know how I’m going to end it, it’s just getting there that’s the problem, made worse by everything else that’s gotten in the way.
