Who’s that Pokémon? It’s Magearna!
A new Mythical Pokémon has been “discovered,” according to a press release from the Pokémon Company.
The 722nd Pokémon to enter the Pokédex, Magearna, is likely to make an appearance in Game Freak’s latest franchise editions, Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, though probably as a promotion for the latest Pokémon movie, expected to release later this year.
Just above 3-feet tall, and weighing 178 lbs., Magearna is known as the Artificial Pokémon and was created 500 years ago by man.
The addition of Magearna is just another part of Pokémon‘s 20th anniversary celebration. Aside from new Pokémon, fans can expect new 3DS bundles, fighting-game Pokken Tournament, and mystery-game Detective Pikachu.
