Love this book. In my opinion, STILL the very best of the New 52 books. ^_^

On the front of this comic is a review from Complex Magazine that says ‘Snyder might be the defining Batman writer of our generation.” This is an applicable honor that Snyder uses to push the boundaries of what a Batman story can look like. As the series progresses, Snyder tests out more radical ideas including adding new villains and revamping some villains that had become obsolete, narrowing down Gotham into a turning tunnel of crime, giving the people who live there a voice, and asking what exactly the Batman means to the world. Snyder takes his time exploring Batman and Bruce Wayne the man while having these two influential icons’ lives dove tail into a mystery that is slowly eating the old city from the inside out. Here…
